Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using this website or engaging Walnut Masonry for any services. By accessing walnutmasonry.com or hiring us to perform work, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or engage our services.
These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of this website and to any services provided by Walnut Masonry, a masonry contracting business operating in Walnut, California. We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the site or continued engagement of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Walnut Masonry provides residential and commercial masonry services including, but not limited to, foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, driveway pavers, retaining wall construction, masonry restoration, fireplace installation, stone veneer installation, concrete block walls, walkway construction, and related work. Services are provided in the greater San Gabriel Valley area of Southern California.
Descriptions of services on this website are for informational purposes only. Actual scope of work is determined through an on-site assessment and documented in a written estimate or contract prior to work beginning.
All estimates are provided in writing following an on-site inspection. Estimates are based on conditions observed at the time of the visit. If conditions differ from what was visible during the inspection - for example, if additional damage is discovered once work begins - we will notify you before proceeding with any work beyond the original scope and provide an updated written estimate for your approval.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change if materials costs change significantly between the estimate date and the project start date.
Project start dates are confirmed at the time of contract signing. We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, material delays, or other circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as soon as possible if a reschedule is necessary.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a project, please contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a fee to cover mobilization costs already incurred. Any deposit paid for materials that have already been ordered may be non-refundable if those materials cannot be returned to the supplier.
Payment terms are specified in the written contract for each project. A deposit may be required at the time of contract signing to cover materials. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work and your satisfaction with the result, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be stated in your contract. Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may accrue a late fee. We reserve the right to place a mechanic's lien on the property for unpaid balances as permitted under California law.
For work requiring a building permit under applicable local, county, or state regulations, Walnut Masonry will obtain the necessary permits unless the parties agree otherwise in writing. Permit fees are either included in the estimate or itemized separately. We are responsible for ensuring that permitted work passes required inspections.
The property owner is responsible for informing us of any homeowners association (HOA) requirements, deed restrictions, or other property-specific rules that may affect the work before we begin.
Warranty terms, if any, will be specified in the written contract for your project. Any warranty we provide covers workmanship defects under normal use and conditions. It does not cover damage caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to earthquakes, floods, soil movement, freeze-thaw cycles, or modifications made by others after the work is completed.
Manufacturer warranties on materials are passed through to you where applicable. We make no representations about the duration or scope of manufacturer warranties beyond what the manufacturer provides.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Walnut Masonry is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services or your use of this website, including loss of use, loss of income, or property damage not directly caused by our negligence.
Our total liability for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific work giving rise to the claim.
